Whatcha Reading Wednesday

GENRE: Historical Romance PAGE LENGTH: 293 pages PUBLISH DATE: April 23, 2024 FORMAT: Kindle PERCENTAGE: 71% READ THIS AUTHOR: Yes READ THIS SERIES: Yes   CURRENT THOUGHTS: So far, this has been a cute read, although I am having a little trouble believing that there is any real love between these two as it seems more a case of lust than anything else. There is some obvious chemistry though, and I did enjoy the witty back and forth banter that these two sometimes engaged in (especially when it came to revisions of the play). However. I have just reached the point of the story where some pretty major things happened, and I feel like they were glossed over a little too easily (just like in the first novel from this series). Because I still have more to go, I am hoping that these two at least have a deep and meaningful conversation about the things uncovered, and I am left with a satisfying ending.
