Whatcha Reading Wednesday

In an effort to get to know my followers better, I am launching a new segment called Whatcha Reading Wednesday! Tell me all about the book currently on your kindle (or in your hand). Are you enjoying it? How far into it are you? Are you likely to continue, or will this be relegated to your did not finish pile? Have you read this author (or series) before? 

GENRE: Historical Romance Anthology PAGE LENGTH: 654 pages PUBLISH DATE: February 20, 2024 FORMAT: Kindle PERCENTAGE: 61% READ THESE AUTHORS: Only 1 of them, the rest are new READ THIS SERIES: N/A   CURRENT THOUGHTS: On one hand, I love the fact that these stories are all a collection of novellas meaning they can easily be read in a day (or a couple of hours if you have some free time). It keeps the characters and the plotlines refreshing. However, on the flip side of that if it's not done properly the book becomes one of my biggest pet peeves, that of instant love. And because they are all historical romance novels, I have to stop reading and write my review immediately after finishing for fear that I'll confuse the characters of different books. So while, while I've hated a couple of the stories, I've enjoyed the others so at the moment this one is sitting at a solid 3.
