My Rating: 4 stars out of 5

A word of warning to long-time readers of historical romances - these stories were originally published in the early 2000's under the author's pen name Debbie Raleigh. So if they seem overly familiar to you that may be why.

That being said - I LOVED these stories! One of the things I noticed is that while the sisters themselves (as well as the circumstances leading up to the romances) couldn't be more different, the author managed to retain the charm and overall sweetness of the overall story. I also very much enjoyed getting to know their father - although I would have liked to have learned more about his escapades before he was captured.

Something else worth noting (and something that stood out to me) is that these stories are all CLEAN romances (meaning there is nothing shared between the Hero and Heroine aside from a handful of passionate kisses and embraces. A rare treat from today's typical "jump into bed" stories.

Overall, I highly recommend this collection to those who enjoy sweet and well written romance novels. I will read more from this author!
