Whatcha Reading Wednesday

 

In an effort to get to know my followers better, I am launching a new segment called Whatcha Reading Wednesday! Tell me all about the book currently on your kindle (or in your hand). Are you enjoying it? How far into it are you? Are you likely to continue, or will this be relegated to your did not finish pile? Have you read this author (or series) before? 

GENRE: Thriller, possibly police procedural PAGE LENGTH: 336 pages PUBLISH DATE: June 22, 2023 FORMAT: Kindle PERCENTAGE: 08% READ THIS AUTHOR: No READ THIS SERIES: No CURRENT THOUGHTS: I've just started reading this one earlier this evening, so I'm only a couple of chapters into it. So far it's been pretty interesting. It started off strong with a gruesome discovery before giving us a quick glimpse into the mind of the killer. The characters seem to have depth to them, but I do feel as though I am missing some pertinent background information on a couple of them. I am hoping those details will make more sense as I get deeper into it, but so far I am both hopeful and excited about the premise of this story.
